About PassVault

PassVault is a free, focused tool for one job: generating passwords and passphrases that are genuinely hard to crack. Set the length and character set, read the live entropy meter, and copy the result — no accounts, no ads, no clutter.

Everything runs entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. There is no backend, so your passwords are never transmitted to a server or stored anywhere — they exist only in your browser's memory for the current session. You can verify this yourself: disconnect from the internet and PassVault keeps working.

It is built and maintained by Interhive OÜ, a small studio in Tallinn that makes tiny, dependable web tools.
